Baxter’s quality systems apply across the product life cycle, including design, development, manufacturing, sterilization, labeling, packaging, handling, distribution and promotion. Teams within the function act as champions of product quality and quality systems throughout Baxter.

Corporate, Business, Regional and Manufacturing Quality

Quality teams work in nearly every corner of the world, helping to design, develop, manufacture and distribute the products that save and sustain the lives of people with hemophilia, immune disorders, cancer, infectious diseases, kidney disease, trauma and other chronic and acute medical conditions. Members of the Quality function work in each of Baxter’s five global regions, its corporate headquarters, and in the more than 50 Baxter manufacturing plants in 26 countries worldwide.

Quality delivers a competitive advantage and ensures the company efficiently meets regulatory requirements and provides products and services that lead to customer preference, retention and loyalty.

Quality Leadership Development Program

Baxter’s Quality Leadership Development Program (QLDP) is a rotational program that provides experiences across Baxter’s many business portfolios, including medical devices and solutions, biologics and pharmaceuticals. In addition to rotating through various businesses at Baxter, the QLDP provides exposure to various Quality functional areas and regional operations with the intent of developing and preparing participants to be future leaders at Baxter.
